Security

Today you connect with the official WireGuard app. When our own MizanVPN app is on Google Play, traffic will be protected by two separate layers: TLS 1.3 with a quantum-resistant layer inside.

  • TLS 1.3 — outer layer

    The most modern encryption standard on the web. From the outside your traffic looks like an ordinary HTTPS site.

  • Quantum-resistant inner layer

    The key is agreed with ML-KEM-1024 (NIST FIPS 203) and X25519 together, and data is encrypted with AES-256. If one method fell, the other still protects you.

  • Server verification

    The app only recognises our server's key. A fake server cannot connect — not even with a forged certificate.

  • A new key for every connection

    Keys are created fresh each time, so past traffic cannot be decrypted later.

Why quantum?

Some attackers record encrypted traffic today, planning to decrypt it years from now with a quantum computer. ML-KEM is the standard built against exactly that: what is recorded today stays closed tomorrow.

What is WireGuard?

The world's most widely used open-source VPN protocol. The official WireGuard app is free and needs no account: you just scan the QR code on our site. Traffic goes directly between your phone and our server.

Why is the QR code valid for only 20 minutes?

The QR code contains your secret key. For security it is shown for 20 minutes only, and a key not used within that time is cancelled automatically. You can create a new one any time on the Connect page.

What if I change phones?

On the Connect page press “Create new key”: a new QR appears and the old phone is disconnected automatically. One device can be connected at a time.

I lost my password. What should I do?

Enter your email in the same form again. Open the link we send and set a new password: the old password and all old sign-ins stop working immediately.

Why isn't the password sent by email?

Mailboxes can be compromised, and old emails stay there for a long time. So only you know your password: we never send it and store it only as a hash.

How do I delete my account?

On the Delete account page, enter your email and password. The account and its related data are deleted.
